Legal Question in Personal Injury in Arizona
My son was involved in a car accident. A woman attempted to cross a street on a bicycle, against the flashing don't walk signal as my son was turning as the light turned green (for him). She was not in the crosswalk at any time, and again, went against the light. A witness states she sped up trying to beat the light. The police did not site my son for any violation. Essentially, because of her actions, she hit my sons car, and suffered a broken wrist.
She is suing for 500,000! The incident was entirely her fault. She was completely unreasonable in her actions.
Does she have a case? Can we counter sue?
Thank you.

Your son needs to tender the lawsuit to his automobile insurance carrier for possible defense coverage.
