2 lien check payouts

when i refinanced i was told of 2 liens against me. We signed papers and they gave us the 2 lien checks made out to discover, 2months go by and the originator sells loan, can they redo in our names.

Your question is unclear, was the transaction closed and did the creditors get paid?
