If I own two properties and foreclose on one can the lender come after my other home to settle the debt?

If the first property does not sell at foreclosure for a sum sufficient to satisfy the mortgage, and usually that is the case, then yes. The lender can pursue any asset of the defaulting borrower for the deficiency resulting from the foreclosure sale.
