Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arizona

Had a barbeque grill badly damaged by a falling tree limb in an area considered our area at an apartment complex (as opposed to communal or common area) where we live. Is this an issue to be resolved by the apartment complex or are we responsible. (to replace grill).

It seems to me that you rent an apartment and all other areas are common areas, even if you have some exclusive use. The lease states what are your premises and what you damage you might be responsible for..
