Braking A Lease

I was planning to move out of our rental and my lease is not up could there be any thing done to me legaly for braking a lease early?

The answer depends on the terms of the lease you signed. I would have to see the documents to give you a proper answer.

If the lease does not allow for early termination, then you could be liable to pay the rent until the landlord finds a new tenant.

I suggest you talk to the landlord first, and see what he or she is willing to do for you.

You can be sued for breach of the lease, unpaid rent, attorneys fees, lose your deposit, etc. if you have no legal right to cancel the lease or if there is no mutual cancellation and release signed by both you and the landlord.

This is not a real estate question, but a landlord/tenant question. You might want to re-submit it under that category, but I imagine the answer will be the same, since the answer is really quite obvious anyway.
