Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arizona

BuyPropertyWithoutInsurance

Had a large mechanic lien on some land. Owner of the land sold the property with lien still on it. Buyer went around lien by purchasing without title insurance. As far as I understood, lien followed purchaser, new owner. 4 months after property is sold, the ex-owner of the property buys a bond and removes lien from property he no longer owns. How is that possible?

Re: BuyPropertyWithoutInsurance

My guess is that you did not file a lawsuit to foreclose on the lien within the required 6 month period.

Impossible to advise you on this without all the facts and documents. See an attorney for a consultation.
