Cancelling a purchase contract

What form is the best to use to cancel a purchase contract that is not yet accepted? (It's a short sale situation and the offer has not yet been accepted) Thanks!

You do not need a form, but you must give written notice to the broker representing the seller that your offer has been rescinded. See what the contract says regarding withdrawal of an offer to purchase.
