Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arizona
Can the case be transferred out?
Small claims in AZ allows cases up to $2500, but either party can request that the case be transferred out of the small claims division...what type of situation would make this applicable? (our particular case amount is $800). Thank you for your time.

If either side has an attorney, or if one side convinces the court that the rules of procedure for regular cases (discovery, depositions, requests to produce documents, etc.) are needed, the case could be transferred to the regular division out of the small claims division.
