Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arizona

Charge to replace whole carpet?

Me lease ended and I told the apartment complex I didn't have time to clean the carpet. They said it was no big deal, they'll have it done and take it from the security deopsit. Well, they changed out the entire apartment's carpet because they said they couldn't get two stains out. I found out they never even tried, they just replaced the whole carpet. Is there anything I can do about this?

You can take them to small claims court. Be ready to present tangible evidence and a witness who can verify that they didn't try to mitigate the damage.
