Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arizona

Commission Listing between Broker & Seller

Is there any way to sever the contract between the broker & seller of a house without having to pay the broker the commission anyway? I feel like I am being railroaded to selling cheap & fast just so they can get there commission. Also I have just signed it on March 3 and today is the 7th. Do they give you so many days to cancel without penalties if you decide to change your mind?

Re: Commission Listing between Broker & Seller

You are under no obligation to sell your property for less than the listing price. Request that the broker cancel the listing if you believe they are acting unprofessionally. Most brokers will do so voluntarily. Do not drop your price if you are not willing to do so. Get advice from another broker. Just because they bring you a lower offer, you do not have to accept it.
