Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arizona

Contracts

We had an oral agreement to a 50/50 spit on a house when sold and after remodle work was done. We have done one month of work out of a 2 month project, and now have been told that they do not wish to contiune as we discussed in the begining. They will not pay us for the work that has been done or tell us what they plan on giving us after the house is sold. What are our rights to pursue the oral contract or pursue getting paid for the services that have been completed?

Re: Contracts

Oral agreement on an investment in a house? Wow.

You may have lien rights, but are you registered contractors to take advantage of that?

You have a big problem. See an attorney at once. The money you saved in not having a proper contract hopefully was put to a very good purpose.
