Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arizona
name on deed
Need to have ex-husband's name taken off deed. Property was awarded to me in our divorce in 2000. But his name is still on the deed and the property tax records. Also I do not have the actual deed anymore - it was lost. What do I do? And do I need a copy of my divorce settlement?

Re: name on deed
Normally the decree orders him to sign documents needed to effectuate the transfer, or the decree actually makes the transfer itself.
Contact a domestic relations attorney. And this is the category of law this falls under, but I answered it anyway since it was sent to me. A domestic relations attorney needs to look at your decree, and can tell you how to enforce it.
