Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arizona
Elderly parents
My parents home is in my brother, sister and my name after the death of our mother 5 years ago. In her will it said that my step-father can live in the house until he dies. He has become very ill and can not take care of himself. Do we have the right to insist that he go into assisstant living facilities? He is 81.

Re: Elderly parents
I cannot pass fair judgment on a will I do not have in front of me. If there are no other stipultations, conditions or terms than those you have stated, it seems difficult to force someone to move who has a right to live in the home. Perhaps you can negotiate some buyout or compromise in the way of a settlement.
