Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arizona
Ernest money
I put down 20,000.00 down on a new manufactured home in the contract it states that they would help me get financing or i would get my money back .Then it also statesthat if i had then put the home in construction that the deposit isnt refundable .The sales man verbally told me and my wife that it would be put in an account so if something happened it was there.I live in arizona and cant find any laws governing ernest deposits. Thank you ,robert

You do not state if you are buying the land at the same time. If not, this is not a real estate question, but a consumer law question, just like buying a car. No opinion can be given without looking at your contract. Also, you do not state what your question is, or your problem, so really cannot address this.
