Foreclosure effect on spouse

I purchased a home on my own, and I have started a short sale - so I will either sell or foreclose within 6-8 months. My fiance and I want to get married asap. Will the foreclosure and/or short sale affect him? Again - he is not on title or the loan at all.

This is a consumer law question, not really a real estate question. Consult with a consumer law/bankruptcy attorney for help. Short sales are complicated, and you should get help so that there is minimal effect on your credit. I doubt it would affect the new husband.
