gifting of property

can gifted property that has been recorded to me in 1995 by my parents be rerecorded at a later date at a lesser amount of acreage without any acknowledgement or any signing by me. don't i own the property after it was recorded in my name by a warranty deed? can they as a donee take the property back?

This is hard to answer on the limited facts revealed. In general, once granted, the property is yours, and cannot be taken back. If a mistake was made, the grantor can attempt to record a "correcting" deed, but it must be stated as such, and this is usually for technical wording mistakes.
