Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arizona

Both me and my grandpa are on all the papers to a car. I have had the car since Nov 2010 and have paid the car the whole time untill the last 2 payments. and because he paid it he now wants the car. do i have to give him the car? he says he will call the cops or get a lawyer if i dont.

There are not enough facts to answer your question, however, if you are both on the title as owners of the car, he cannot demand possession or call the cops. He can get a lawyer, but that would be foolish. You should both agree to a where you can keep the car and pay him for his interest in the car. Then, you should retain an experienced lawyer to write the agreement you have made and enforce the agreement, if you pay as required, or if you don't, give possession of the car to him.
