law suit against us

what happens if the people suing us win and we are over extended with bills now. we are being sued re:a house with mold that we sold 5 years ago

If they win, they can enforce their judgment by garnishing wages, and bank accounts. Depending on how much equity you have in your home and cars, they might be able to get those things too. Talk to a lawyer. If you really don't have any money to pay the judgment, then talk to a bankruptcy lawyer.
