lease/purchase agreements

My husband and I entered into a lease purchase agreement on a residential property in April of this year. We are now contemplating divorce. Can we get out of the agreement?

It depends on the terms of your agreement. Have an attorney review the document. You could also try talking to your landlord and ask if he/she will allow you break the agreement. Most likely the landlord will want you to pay the rent until a new tenant is found.
