live in phoenix arizona, wanting to know how to change title on home to my name only after divorce so can get better interest rate and lower mortgage monthly payment, ex-spouse lives out of state (illinois)

There are two options here: a deed from your ex-spouse or a deed from the court.

The easiest option is to get your ex to sign a deed with you to convey the property to you, individually. You did not say if the court decree of divorce awarded the property to you, if so, you can go back to court and get the desired result that way, although it will cost a lot more to do so.
