Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arizona

Powerful mega-property manager breaking contract-Who can stand up to them?

A powerfull, finacial group has a long term lease of my property. They have constructed and are managing a biulding which is now occupied by a very successfull megacorporation. When the lease runs out in the very near future I will legally own both the property and biulding according to our contract.

However, the property manager has bought up most of the surrounding parking space which the occupying business depends. They have also recently added an addition to the building that allows it to exist legally only if it is associated with their parking lots.

Therefore, they have now made it to where no one can own or buy the property/building except them.

However, There is a specific clause in the contract that states this type of construction breaks our contract. They never informed me or asked me if they could build the addition, they have sent me manipulated appraisels, and are constantly and rudely putting pressure on me to sell before the lease is up.

I did pay an appraiser and his lawyer friend several thousand dollars but they are dragging their feet and I now have evidence that they have close links to the leasers of my property.

Who can a liitle guy trust or go to?

You need a good lawyer. I am located in Texas and can't help, but there is a lawyer I have worked with named Timothy Thomason in Phoenix who is excellent at commercial real estate. You can find his contact information on the Arizona State Bar website. You are welcomed to email me if he is not available and I could give you another name. www.azbar.org. Good luck.

If your property is in Arizona, you may contact me for a free, no obligation consultation at 480.835.1500. I have no contacts with your lessee. I can help you keep or sell your property for a fair price. If the property is in Arkansas (your message I received does not specify the state where the property is located) you need an attorney in that state in my opinion. You are welcome to speak with me. I would need to review your lease carefully.
