Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arizona
can i pursue legal action
. Im a mortgage broker and have been for over 7 years in Arizona, Ive always know of these state laws and abided by them. But I am now forced to live next door to a disgruntled, angry home seller that I purchased my home from 1/05 because his realtor obviously didnt explain the terms of the contract or law regarding compensation. Ive talked to several attorneys- no one seems to think I have any avenue to pursue without spending a fortune and probably losing anyway, I would great appreciate your opinion on my dilemma and any course of action I may have to stop this neighbors ridiculous behavior - all over $2250.00 he had to pay his realtor, heres the story in short.
The seller (of the home I purchased) lives next door to me, He is disgruntled over the purchase transaction and is harassing me and my husband daily due to having to pay his realtors commission of 1% at the coe. We have been to court several times to place an injunction of harassment against this neighbor for the past 2 years as he continues to blame us, the buyers, for money he lost in the closing transaction, .50% $2250.00
Originally when I found the home I did not contact my realtor for representation, I spoke to the seller directly, we agreed on x

Re: can i pursue legal action
Regardless of the cause of his unhappiness, the neighbor has no right to harm you or interfere with the quiet enjoyment of your home. You can sue him for money damages in small claims court ( up to $4,999) or justice court (up to $9,999), without a lawyer. You should consult with an attorney to learn what causes of action you may have and what damages you may claim.
