Can a quit claim deed be granted to someone other than a child such as a sibling?

Re: quit claim deeds
I second the notion of seeing an attorney -and- tax advisor. There might be tax consequences if the property is not quitclaimed to a spouse or child. Think, and consider long and hard, before you mess with your property ownership.
Re: quit claim deeds
A quit claim deed can be used to transfer title to anyone. Why do you want to quit claim your property? In my experience, when family members quit claim property to each other, it's usually for the wrong reasons, and can have sever unintended consequences. See an attorney.

A quitclaim deed can be used to transfer title to anyone you want - it does not have to be a child or sibling.
