Is there a staute of limtations on a dated quit claim deed for filing at the clerks office? Can I sign a deed and hold it for later filing?

Why would you want to do that? To me, this sounds like you are trying some kind of Do-it-yourself estate planning. This is a bad idea. It's almost certain to fail. See an attorney or at least resubmit this question and explain the goal you are trying to accomplish.
