Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arizona

Real estat disclosure

Recently, my husband and I purchased a home in Palm Valley Phase V in Goodyear. We have recently found out that across the street on the side of our house SunCor Developement is going to be building light industrial and office buildings. The land that this will be built on is currently zonded as agricultural. When we were considering purchasing this house we asked the sales agent if there were any plans for the agricultural land and he said no. Come to find out, even though this land has not yet been rezoned, it has been planned all along that the land would be for offices and light industrial. When we called the representative at SunCor Developement to see if the builders in the area were made aware of the intentions for this land he said that they were. If I had known the intentions for this land, I would not have purchased this home. Do we have a case against the builder (Lennar) for not disclosing this information?

You probably have some claims, but the only way to be sure is to carefully read your contract. Hire an attorney.
