Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arizona
Realtor not helpful
I have my land listed for sale with a realtor. This realtor has not done the work to advertise my property to my satisfaction after neumerous conversations. It is acreage with a mobile home and he does not advertise it as being land also. I believe the land is the biggest seller. Can I fire my realtor? Also, if I find my own buyers, do I have to use him for the paperwork and pay him a commission? If not, who can I get to do the paperwork?

Demand that your realtor execute a cancellation of listing, then market it as you desire or get another realtor who will. If you sell during the listing period without a cancellation, you will expose yourself to a lawsuit for a commission.
