Reverse Mortgage

Is it possible to quick claim deed our house (from me to my husband) so we can qualify for a reverse mortgage? Since I am only 52 (he is 71) we cannot qualify due to my age. Is there anyway around this?

The term is quit claim, not quick claim. That is a deed granting all your interest in the home to your husband. Your broker or bank should be able to help you do this. I do not see a problem, but do not know if there is any waiting period after a deed for reverse mortgages. See an attorney for complete information.
