Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arizona

selling home when married

My husband and I are physically seperated. I moved to Maryland to have my baby and raise our son. My husband is going to be leaving the country. If I cannot support the ownership of the home, would it be illegal to sell without his knowlege. Our home is in Arizona.

This question is properly answered by Family Law / Domestic Relations attorneys. Re-submit in that category.

If your husband's name is on the deed, you will not be able to sell without his signature or his written power of attorney (properly prepared and signed.) Consult with a marital law attorney.

Good luck
