Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arizona
sewer system
We purchased rental property in Jan '07. We have just replaced the whole sewer line because of it backed up into the basement. The tenant said she made the previous owner aware of a problem as she had to call out a plummer to open the drains, but on their disclosure statemate they stated they had no problems during they're ower ship. It also stated that the line had been replaced. In acutallity it had been replaced at different times over the years and the work was not good. The person we bought the property from was a real estate agent also.
Do you think we have any recourse?

You might indeed, either in a civil claim or a complaint against the license.
See a real estate attorney.
