What is the difference between Community Property with right of survivorship and joint tenancy with right of survivorship?

Any two people can take title to property as joint tenants with right of survivorship, only a married couple can take title as CPWROS. With CPWROS, upon the death of the first spouse, the survivor gets a stepped up basis on the value of the whole property (a great benefit with regard to taxes due on the sale of the property by the survivor).
