my home whent up for public action to highest cash bidder, can my own morgae company purscase it ??? they did for less than we paid for it

Yes, lenders may, and typically do, bid at their own foreclosure sales. The amount bid is usually the lesser of what they are owed or the estimated fair market value of the property.
