Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Arizona
I am a man working in a hostile work environment with other men
I work in an all male office the ''boss'' thinks it's funny to pay ''money needy'' employees to walk around the office naked or allows other employees to expose their genitalia to measure who is ''bigger'' also has employees urinate in other employees coffee cups the list goes on and on. I have complained numerous times but was told a fun work environment makes the day go by faster. Over time I have changed my schedule so that I limit the amount of time spent in the same room with ''them'' As a result my accounts have been taken from my desk and I was informed just last week that if I do not work the same hours as the rest of the office I would be moved down the pay scale. After discussing this with other employees their feelings is that ''this is his way of forcing you to quit'' My question is: What rights if any do I have if and when the situation escalates?

Re: I am a man working in a hostile work environment with other men
This situation is preposterous and absolutely inappropriate and illegal. You have many rights. It just depends in what direction you want to go. If your company has more than 15 employees, federal is applicable. Check your employee handbook/manual. There should be a provision on how to handle it. If no remedy is available or no one takes action, you can go to either the state attorney general's office or the EEOC and lodge a complaint. Obviously you want to start with management first. I am concerned that you may lose your job under these circumstances but make sure you document everything well.
