Legal Question in Social Security Law in Arizona
Correct Name in Social Security Card
The name on my SS card and my Employment authorization card given by DHS/USCIS are different.
SS card first name: unknown
SS card last name: my name
EAD first name: FNU
EAD last name: my name
I cannot apply for a drivers license because of this.
How do i correct my name in the SS card to reflect what it states in my EAD card?
Is there anything else i can do, other than changing the SS card name? Thank you.

You must take your birth certificate to the Social Security office (and any other forms of ID you have). They will issue you a new Social Security card by mail. It helps if have an appointment with the social security office.
