Legal Question in Traffic Law in Arizona
Automated Traffic Ticket
I received an automated traffic ticket (on camera type). Someone told me that since it was mailed to me regular mail, and I have not signed it, that I could just throw it away. Because I have not signed a promise to appear and they have no proof that I received it in the mail.
Thank you for your advice.

Re: Automated Traffic Ticket
If you ignore it, eventually a bench warrant will issue for your arrest. The next time you are stopped you will be taken to jail on the bench warrant, then taken before the judge to explain your circumstances.
Better to deal with it now and avoid the greater hassle which results if you don't.
