Legal Question in Traffic Law in Arizona

I received a photo radar ticket issued in Prescott Valley. I was not the driver as my brother was using one of my cars to do errands. Do I need to provide his name as requested? My Drivers License photo will prove I wasn't driving..

In Arizona, civil traffic tickets generally have to be "served" by a police officer (standard roadside tickets) or proper service of process before a court appearance is mandated. Standard US Mail usually doesn't satisfiy this requirement (there are exceptions). You can voluntarily respond if you choose. In this situation, you could send in the ticket with a copy of YOUR driver's license to show you were not the driver. You are not required by law to do any more than that- it is up to the State ot prove their own case.
