Property is "listed" with a real estate broker for sale. A real estate agent works for the broker and does (usually) all of the work. This is an agency agreement, the estate of the deceased is the principal, and the real estate broker is the agent of the estate. The personal representative of the estate (same as executor) has the legal authority to list the property with the broker.
