My brother died without a will. He has a lot of medical bills. How will that affect his house that he owned, car, etc.

His medical creditors must file a claim against your brother's probate estate in order to collect what is owed to them. His home, car and other personal and real property constitute his probate estate and the expenses of administration of his estate, his claims, his taxes and other costs are all liabilities of the estate. The heirs, as determined by state law because he did not have a will, get what is left after the liabilities are paid.
