Changing a trustee
My daughter recently turned 18 and does not want her father in charge of her trust. She would like to change the trustee to a financial institution, as well as to obtain a copy of the will.

Your daughter needs to bring the trust to a lawyer and figure out what can be done.

The answer to your question will require an examination of the trust to determine if the trust will allow your daughter to change the trustee. Your daughter is also entitled to see both the trust and the will.
