Executrix wants to overcharge us rent
I am living in my recently deceased mother's house(in AZ).I now own a 1/3 share of the house. The executrix wants to charge us rent exceeding 1/3 the mortgage. Can she legally do that?

The other 2 heirs have a 2/3 interest in the house, and they may charge you a reasonable rent for this if they wish, or they may waive the rent. Your 1/3 interest entitles you to only 1/3 of the benefit of the ownership of the house.
