My father passed away with no will, how do I change deed of our home into my name and assume responsiblilty for its taxes?

Unless your father transferred the property to a trust or recorded a beneficiary deed naming you to receive the property, or unless the property is worth less than $75,000, you will need to file a probate case with the court. You should consult with an attorney.
