grandmother left will and dont want to go though propate
My grandmother died in april 2007, in her will she left property to my dad, my sister, and myself. we all agree to put it in my name. What paperwork do we need to fill out and file to transfer it to me? We would like not to have to go through propate, is that possble?

Whether or not you have to open a probate depends on the value of the assets. If there is real estate worth more than $75,000 or if there is other property worth more than $50,000 then you must open a probate.

It is possible, but depends upon all the facts of the case. Some property can be transferred by affidavit without a probate. I would also need to examine the deed on the property to give a proper opinion.
