Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arizona
Living trust and debts
I have a friend who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and has only been given a very short time to live. He has no next of kin and wishes to designate my family the sole heirs to his property-mainly vehicles and tools, but no real estate or money. Is considering a living trust. He does not have insurance or money to pay for the medical bills. I do not want to inherit problems along with his few possessions. Just want to know how to proceed.

Re: Living trust and debts
If he truly wants you to have his personal property, he should transfer ownership of those items to you now, during his life time.
