Checking to see if a probate case is filed is easy. Look at the web site of the court in the county where the person lived, or call the clerk of the court. Do a search for the Superior Court of the particular county, then select the probate division.

You state very little of the facts. If you are a relative entitled to the will, or are a beneficiary, you can make a demand of the custodian of the will. You can also file a Demand for Notice in the proper county with the clerk of the court, and if a probate is filed, they have to give you notice.

Good luck.
