Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arizona

Minor and will

Is the minor intitled to any assets as an heir vs and adult in Arizona? There was no will and it is going to probate.

One live daughter, and one dead daughters' 3 children, a 20yrs old, 25 yrs old and the youngest is 15 yrs old.

The live daughter will get 50% and the dead daughters' children will split 50%.

Re: Minor and will

The minor is absolutely entitled to his or her share, and must receive it, but there will have to be a court-approved conservatorship until the 18th birthday, and the inheritance must be paid into the conservatorship account after approval by the court. If this is not done, the personal representative (executor) will have violated the law and has liability he or she does not want.
