Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arizona

My mom passed away almost 8 years ago and I had a probate attorney who also ended up being the representative of the will. Now 8 years later a family member is contesting the will even they were aware of all the legal proceedings. Can they do this? The relative has hired a lawyer and I am being taken to court.

Anyone can sue anyone. The question is whether or not they can prevail. If you are "being taken to court," what is the complaint against you? Without more information, it would appear that the time to contest the Will is long passed. If you have been sued, you must repond on a timely basis. Do not fail to act promptly.
