Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arizona

Mom refuses to give me trust grandma intended me to have

My grandma left $20,000 in trust to me, payable upon my 30th b-day, with my mother as executor of the trust. I am now 30 and my mother is refusing to hand over the money. What can I do? She lives in AZ & I live in NV, and have no financial means of retaining an attorney to help me resolve this. Do I have any legal recourse?

Re: Mom refuses to give me trust money

Yes. If the trust provides clearly the funds should be distributed, you should be able to find an attorney who would be willing to handle your matter for a percentage of what was collected.

I would consider that arrangement after a free consultation.
