Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arizona

Before money is distributed from a will, is the executor obligated by law to give an accounting of all fees associated with sale of house, bank accounts, funeral cost, etc. The house is up for sale, work is being done by husband of executor who is also a beneficiary and he is getting paid very well from this estate for all work done. I would like a full accounting of all monies , I was told I am not to ask about this until house is sold, will is settled. I am looking for lawyer in phoenix, arizona area.

I would be happy to represent you in this probate matter. You are right, you are entitled to an accounting by asking the court to order the "executor" (now known as the personal representative) to setforth all expenses of administration of the estate. The court should be required to approve the sale of the house as well.
