Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arizona

My mother passed away in January of this year. She has left me the house but there is no will. I do have a sister. She doesn't want the house. She has signed and notorized the waiver of bond and the waiver of right to appointment as personal representative and consent to appointment of personal representative. I have filled out the paperwork to become the personal representative of the estate. My question is, once I have filed the paperwork with the courts, how long does it take to become the personal representative of the estate.

You will need to take a copy of the Letters of Personal Representative with you to the court when you file the rest of your paperwork. If everything is in order the clerk will certify the Letters of Personal Representative and that will be it. You will then be officially appointed. You may contact me by email if you have further questions.
