Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arizona

Named in a Will

I have been told that I have been named in a friends will to receive a portion of her Estate...Should I get a copy of the Will or how do I find out what I am entitled to?

Re: Named in a Will

It is in the discretion of the person making the Will to disclose any information. You have no right to the information before the person dies. It is common that people change their wills and their intentions to give gifts many times during their lifetime. It is only the last Will that has any effect at the time of death.
