Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arizona

How do obtain a copy of a trust

An irrevocable trust was set up in my name with a trustee. I have never been given a copy and now because of some family issues I am afraid that my trust could be tampered with. What can I do?

I think it was established in AZ, it is currently held by a CA company, and I live in TX

Re: How do obtain a copy of a trust

I presume that you are the beneficiary. Your message does not make that clear. I am not sure if this is a present trust or a testamentary trust (arising upon the death of someone).

If you are a present beneficiary, you are entitled to a copy of the trust and an accounting. It may be that your interest is a future one. Contact the trustee and request information on the trust, and a copy of the trust. If you need to consult with an attorney we offer free initial consulations with no obligation at 480.835.1500.

Best regards.
